This booklet will help students to analyse and evaluate their own live theatre production in terms of how dramatic elements had been used to create theatrical impact, such as set, lighting, costume, sound, staging and acting. They should then be able to use these notes to help respond to the statement used in the exam question. Perfect to use with students in the run-up to the exam-why not give students a copy to take on study leave with them in order to fine tune their Evaluation Notes or spend lesson time going through the theory, guidance and notes, linking it to the live theatre production they have seen? Or, photocopy and give to your students sections to work through for homework/study leave.
